Artist Haley Bowen shares how her journey as an artist has helped her create more than art and how it's led to self-discovery and owning her self-worth.
In this episode, we discuss her fight for individuality in life and art, how she’s had to learn to let herself have the good that she deserves in her life, the importance of observation and silence in life, the tension she faces as an artist and business owner, and more.
Haley is a Texas artist and a tenant artist. A student from Parsons the New School for Design, Rollins College, and The American University of Rome, she received a B.A. in studio art with a double minor in art history and creative writing. Though growing up in a conservative household, Haley started drawing the nude figure at 14 years of age.
Haley has shown in national art fairs, art societies, galleries in Houston, participated as an artist in Houston galas and auctions, and is privately collected both nationally and internationally.
