Michael Atkins is the principal of Stedman Elementary, a dual-language school offering English or Spanish immersion to early childhood 3- and 4-year-old classrooms through fifth grade in the Denver neighborhood of Park Hill. Atkin's story is an unconventional one of going from custodian to principal, and now he's leading parents, faculty, and students through an unconventional experience.
